For anyone stressing about getting their nursery done in time, this pic is for you!... PROGRESS IS BEAUTIFUL! UPDATED PIC!
I figured this would make you all feel better about how your nurseries are coming along.
I'm 35 weeks and this is the current status of our baby's room! Am I stressed? A little. But this is actually progress and mostly I just have to laugh when I look in there. This is what happens when you are the king and queen of procrastination!
Explanation: We had a leak in the roof above the nursery, which damaged the ceiling. We got a new roof, which eliminated the leak. The plan was then to cut out the damaged area of the ceiling and patch it in with new sheetrock, but as DH was tearing it down he noticed mold and the more he cut out of the ceiling, the more he found. So we decided to tear down the whole ceiling and have it replaced!
I'm still optimistic this baby's room will be done in time. Wish us luck!
UPDATE: So there's still a lot to be done, but look how far we've come in just a few days! It's like Extreme Home Makeover up in here!

Wow...the good news is, usually baby will be in room with you when they come home at first anyway..so you will have a little more time. my DH and I are bad procrastinators too...we have done nothing..I have time, but I figure, I will only be able to move kind of ok for a nother 4-6 weeks..so time to get cracking!!

LOL! I am only 7weeks, but I will most likely not have a room for baby when he/she is born. We are tearing out the front of our house to redo our entryway and front room so we can go up once we have the money but it looks like we will not have a nursery until after the baby is born. Sucks, but hey the baby will be in our room for awhile anyway so we can make it work! I just hope we fall into money soon!!!!!!

I'm 10 weeks behind you and my room looks about the same. Dh took all the old paneling down and has to work on the ceiling next! Don't worry-it will all come together! Image Attachment(s):

My DS is 9 months and I still haven't completely finished. It's just decorations at this point but still a work in progress. Don't worry you can always have the baby in with you for a bit.

Awe! Sorry you have to deal with this while pregnant but it will get done!
I was in a situation like this...I was living in a studio apt waiting to close on my house and had to have an emergency c section. We closed on our house the day the babies got discharged from the NICU. My amazing family and friends worked their butts off and painted our entire house. Our nursery was done within 2 weeks of closing when we moved in.

OMG and i thought i was far behind ... my room looks almost the same except i still have some stuff in it i dont know what to do with ... and I still have a ceiling but im only 20 weeks and my DH keeps hounding me ... im going to show him this pic so he can get off my ass!
