What kind is best for them? Should I go to Stride Rite?

I just picked up our first pair of walking shoes from stride right yesterday. Poor dd was having a little trouble getting the hang of it at first b/c they are a little bit heavier I guess!

people buy whatveer but im a bog beleiver in stride rite shoes for walking, they need the support fr walking, posture, comfort etc...i actually picked up 2 nrand new pairs at the thrift store...was a luchy find at $2.50.

We always have done Stride Rite for the first pair (or two) of shoes..

Stride Rite definitely. At 19 months, we still buy SR for sneakers, but I'll buy other shoes at Target. It's really tough to find shoes that will fit her chubby feet, but we never have a problem at SR.
