First shoes
When did you buy dc's first pair of walking shoes? The pediatric physical therapist that I work with said to wait a few weeks after they start walking for several reasons. Just curious...

Both of my kids wore Robeez even when they were walking.
1st pair of real shoes was when they were just walking but only worn outside.

My kids were barefoot or wearing socks until they were walking for well over a month. They both were walking by 11 months - so around their first birthday. Maddie I waited longer since she was a summer baby.
eta. My podiatrist also told me to wait as long as I could before getting them shoes.

same here, until he was really pounding the pavement, there was no need for "walking" shoes.
He didn't wear shoes in the house. only robeez or socks

we're still barefoot or robeez knock offs here. I have sneakers for her, but they are mostly for show.

My daughters have been walking for over 2 months. Just got them walking shoes this week. They were wearing Robeez until then.
