Favorite Shampoo/Conditioner for Blond Highlights & Thick Hair
I got a full head of blond highlights and a new haircut yesterday. My hairdresser asked me what I use on my hair and I said Dove. I really like these products but she said I should be using something better as Dove will make my hair loose it's luster. She recommended Goldwell but I've used it in the past and didn't like it.
Now I love my hairdresser and have been going to her for a few years now. She wasn't trying to push products on me but she wants me to keep my highlights looking as good as possible.
My hair is thick, highlighted, and has a tendency to get dry. I also occasionally use a flat iron on it.
Any suggestions from people with similar hair? What else is good?
I'm going to head over to Ulta today.

loreal professional series
they have one for hilighted hair
its $20-25 per shampoo and 20-25 per conditioner but wonderful
if anything buy the conditioner

I'm a big fan of the Alterna Hemp Organics line.
Also love Redkin - Clear Moisture line.
Alterna is on the higher priced side but smells and works great.
Redkin is more moderately priced and works really, just as well too.

I use Pantene for Blonde Highlights/Hair. It keeps the color longer and makes it soo shiny.

John Freida Sheer Blonde Line
The shampoo and conditioner are called
Lustrous Touch Strengthening Shampoo and Conditioner.
Works AWESOME!

This stuff is awesome - I use the hydrating one for curly hair. -
Pantene is also a really great product.
My sister works in the L'Oreal labs and says Pantene ALWASY beats out the L'Oreal products during testing -

I have blonde highlights too and I used to use john freida stuff but my hair got very dull. I have very thick hair so i dont know if that had anything to do with it. now i use treseme blonde both shampoo and conditiner and I love it! and its cheap i get it at target, it works awesome, its by far one of the better ones I've used and i have tried so many high end ones too!
