Favorite Mexican Food Place
My absolute favorite is Viva Juans in Selden, but I don't get out there much anymore. I also like Don Juan's.

Don Juan's is awesome! I'm a spanish teacher and we take our 8th graders there every year for a school trip! It's the best school trip...if only we could enjoy margaritas

no karaoke on the trip...they do put on a whole show for the kids though with traditional dances and they play games with them and have the kids come up on stage. it really is great. My MIL has taken her 5th grade classes there as well.

Viva Juans in Centerport does karaoke. DH & I get over there sometimes but not as much as we use to.

DH has his own disks & even has a karaoke machine from when I met him. He sang a karaoke version of Amazed by Lonestar at our wedding reception.

There used to or maybe still is a place in Roslyn called El Pollo Loco, or something like that. I haven't been in a few years, so I am not even sure if its still there. I love that place.
For take-out, we love Qdoba, which is in Hicksville at the Broadway Mall.

Baja Grill on Jericho TPKE in Syosset is awesome and cheap. Not a fancy shmancy place, but excellent. Fancy Shmancy mexican would be Besito in Huntington

yes, that is Baja Fresh, it's a chain. it is SO good! they only use fresh ingredients. their "shtick" is that they have no freezers or microwaves on the premises.
for a sit down restaurant, we really like La Panchita in Levittown and Pancho Villas in Huntington Village.
