ewcm is fertile mucus, it usually occurs when estrogen surges...right before O....you can be approaching O or even Oing...you can't tell with just cm.
In fact women with pcos have very often, so you can't use it as a clear confirmation on O...although you should definitely bd when you have it

Thanks once again Michelle. Got my surge on my OPK on Tuesday and yesterday the OPK showed a lighter test line so hopefully somehting happened by now. Maybe all this bding will help shed a few lbs too!
