ok so i just looked at the final seen again and it looks like tony walked in to the diner and saw himself at the table waiting for his family! is that right? bc i didnt see that last night, am i going crazy?

No, I think he comes in and is looking around in the diner and then it switches to himself sitting in the seat. He was possibly looking for a "good" place to sit.

No - we checked the Tivo. He looks at himself already sitting.
