does anyone know what the deal is with Honey Baked Ham
is it preseasoned/pre cooked...
is it basically just heating and serving?

yes, and yes. All you have to do is heat it throughout and then cut it off the bone.

so I don't know why I am finding this so confusing...
My husband went to go pick up the HB ham - he says there is no glaze...is there suppose to be?
and about how long do I heat w/o drying it out --it is 5lbs
sorry, first time I am doing this, and I am a little bit lost...

Honestly, it's been a while since I bought one so I just don't remember if there was a separate glaze, but I really don't think there was. As far as heating, there aren't cooking instructions on the package? If not, call the store and ask them. It's their product -- they should be able to tell you how to cook it. I think I just kept feeling it. You could also use a meat thermometer.

my dad gets one of these every year for xmas... all you're doing is heating it up. if there aren't any directions, i would call them and ask. and it doesn't come with any kind of glaze, it's pre-honey baked/glazed.

I went home and looked at it - and it does not come with glaze - but it didn't need any
I heated today for about 10 mins --
(we were picking at it though on Sat night! -so good)
