Does anyone know how to contact Dr. Browns? (the bottles are all leaking!)
I am so mad. The bottles have been leaking for a while, the writing is all cracked and coming off on the side...
They are more trouble than they're worth is what I'm discovering. I can't go anywhere now without the bottle leaking all over my diaper bag! Anyone have this prob? Or have a # I can contact? TIA!

I honestly don't know why this is happening. All the parts are in place, the caps are on...and even as I am feeding him, it's leaking. All the bottles are now doing this, it used to be only 2 or so...very frustrating!

This is going to sound bizarre but I remember a friend saying that her bottles leaked if she screwed the cap on too tight...

Hmmmm...you know...that could be it?! I have been screwing the caps on really tight thinking it would help but maybe this is the prob?? I'll try to loosen the next bottle, we'll see!

I have to say that this happened to me but it was only because of wear and tear of using the bottle so many times and my daughter dropping them on the floor.
The writing started coming off and the bottles cracked and eventually leaked so I went out and bought new ones.
Not sure if thats the issue you are having.

I used them for a year and half as well and screwing the top on too tight always caused leaks! The best way to check them is to look inside at the straw part. If it's filled up to the top (b/c of pressure), unscrew the top and release whatever liquid is in it. That usually did the trick for me. Also, when/if you heat the bottles, make sure the top isn't on or on loosely. As for the paint coming off- it happened to mine too. I heard you can contact them for that and they'll send you replacement bottles if you want. Good luck!

If I make it to tight it leaks. and if when heating and the cap is too tight it leaks.. I usually take the top of when warming it

fyi call them up to complain and they will send you all new bottles! i did that about the ink on the bottles and they sent me new ones.
are you using the little flat disc when you are transporting the bottle? it stops the formula from leaking out.
also, are you heating the bottle with the nipple and guts in? that can also cause the bottles to leak. somehing about the pressure building up, they told me.

hey mo,
clearly i don't have a baby, but are you putting them in the dishwasher, especially on the bottom? if you are, that could be the problem. i've ruined many sealed containers by doing that--the high heat "warps" the plastic. you're only supposed to put it on the top rack and shouldn't put plastic containers in really at all. i have no idea if bottles are the same way...but i figured it's worth a shot!
can't wait to see you next weekend!!

Carol...no, i don't use the dishwasher, I do them by hand everyday...its a good thought though! They are still leaking even with loosening the tops. I think I am just ready for new bottles, but its annoying that they are like this. I thought they'd last longer...
I'll try calling them and getting new ones maybe? Can't hurt!

I emailed and called them about the writing coming off the outside of the bottles. They returned my call and email - they also sent me new bottles, I just had to send back the defective ones. The website address is on the sides of the bottles. Good luck!
