Does anyone have an Owens Corning system finished basement?

DH want to price them just to see how much it would be. I think they are nice but that it would be 2x - 3x more than him doing it himself. Then again the company they subcrontract to do it (Allure) brings in the electrician to do all the wiring, so that's cool. My DH could do some of it on his own but he stinks at taping sheetrock he tells me. We could get a friend to do it and probably get a good discount too, but I really do like the idea that the Owens Corning system is mold free, fireproof, and stain free.
Just wanted to get some opinions on it. Thanks.

I believe it is over $30,000, close to $40,000.

I did look into it, decided it was not worth the money. Never did anything.

Also I am not a fan of Allure. I think they are horrific, and very sales pitched. We refused to use them when we did our windows, and siding. They were priced over $20,000 more than the company we did use (a very reputable one).

I hear the basement system is extremely overrated...in addition. I would not do it.

Allure is very very overpriced and so is the corning basement system. You are better off going with a regular home improvement contractor and putting up sheetrock. It will look much better.
