Does anyone else NOT like frozen yogurt from these new popular places?
Not sure what it is. I had no issue with Toby yogurt but sweet frog and swirl and twirls etcc... It doesn't taste sweet. It taste tangy like regular yogurt

I know what you mean--I like the tangy "original" flavor but you are right it isn't sweet. Have you tried the other flavors? they aren't really tangy.

You know, I never actually eat in them.
Once in awhile we will do Carvel or Baskin Robbins in the summer.
Honestly, I always wondered how these places stay in business.
I guess if you're out and about and happen to see one, are hungry and stop in.....
I did see too they recently opened a yogurt shop by my gym.

I like Swirls and Twirls... But hated Sweet Frog...which is weird bc my DH and parents think the taste the same.
I agree, neither are as good as TCBY. But I like the different flavors and combos you can make.

I'm not a frozen yogurt fan. I'm a huge ice cream lover so when I want something cold and creamy I just go straight for the real thing. To me, frozen yogurt is just a "not so good" ice cream knock off.

Actually the only reason I frequent them at all is for my 7 yr olds events. I am not really an ice cream person either. I don't get the point of freezing your azzz off, walking through snow only to get something even colder...lol
I am not sure if Tcby is still open actually. But I totally remember their white chocolate mousse.

Try Yogo mania by CVS. They are pretty good. But I love frozen yogurt!

Love TCBY. There's one in Commack on Motor Pkwy near the Bonwitt

aaaahhh I work over there. Thought it closed. Next to that awesome pizza place and expensive but amazing bakery.

We go swirls and twirls a lot in the warmer months. It's cheaper than Carvel because kids get tiniest amount and they like to pick toppings.

I love frozen yogurt & TCBY, but these Sweet Frogs & Feeneys are gross. Even my DDs didn't want to finish them.

I love tangy frozen yogurt. The original is so yummy. Places like 16 Handles have both. There is one in Lynbrook too.
