Doc appointment today.
I had my appointment with my OB/GYN today. The nurse took three tubes of blood to do all of the standard bloodwork testing for hormones and a bunch of letters I have no idea what they stand for. Then the doctor came in and did the sonogram. It wasnt bad at all. I saw my uterus, which had a great lining. I saw my right ovary which was fine. Then he showed me my left ovary, which he deduced, was the ovary from which I ovulated this cycle and that was also fine. It made sense to me because the month before, I had O-pains on the RIGHT side. He also told me that DH's SA went well and his count is good. So basically all we have to do is wait for the bloods. I can know as early as tomorrow or as late as Monday. If all goes well, with NO issues (my gut has been right so far so I am going with this), then we can begin our inseminations next month. We will have to do it twice for each cycle until or unless we decide for more invasive measures. To think that it could all happen next month is so exciting. I was actually supposed to have my annual PAP too but I was so anxious, and already "gelled" from the sonogram, that I have to go back again to do it. Oh well.

ETA: I just realized something - the next time I ovulate, will be the weekend of the Superbowl. OH THE IRONY OF BEING A FOOTBALL WIDOW!!! TOUCH DOWN!!!!! Lord have mercy I am such a dork

Ladies, the doctor is more than likely going to be doing scoring in the end zone. DH gets the points though.
