Yes, always.
Not even worried about stuff. Things can be replaced. Has no one watched a movie where someone is laying in the back ready to strangle the driver?

I remember watching an Unsolved Mysteries episode- I had to be no older than 10 or 11, and a woman got into her car leaving work, around 6 pm, and there was a man waiting for her in the back seat. He ended up forcing her to drive to the ATM, withdrawal all of her money, and then stabbed her to death. That has stuck with me for over 20 years. I always, even in broad daylight, check the back of my car.

My in laws have had their cars broken into & even stolen a few times... still don't lock their cars... duh!!

umm...I still use the club  no matter where I go. as long as Im not in the driver seat le club ez on!
but I dont always lock my car and NEVER leave anything in there.

Yep- they call it "car shopping" when the junkies run up and down the block jiggling handles to take anything they can pawn or just take loose change. As Nell has said, they're no really "breaking" in. what is stopping an addict from getting his next high if he is a dollar short?
I have insomnia, so instead of bothering DH while he's sleeping, I hang out on the couch with my ipad. This past Spring, my driveway light turned on, and I heard a door handle! I ran to look out the window through the blinds and OMG a few feet away was a skinny guy in a hoodie literally darting from DH's car across my lawn to my neighbor's cars on the stret, doing the same thing! He was moving so fast!
We always lock our cars. DH is so OCD with that kind of stuff, we don't even leave a dime in plain sight, and as someone else posted, he clicks both remotes to "lock" before going to bed.

You are stupid if you don't lock your car.
You are ASKING to have everything in your car stolen.
I live in a "nice" neighborhood and I lock my car. I used to live in a gated community where we didnt even have a lock on the house. then car break ins and more were happening. Taught me a valuable lesson.
