For the most part I love weddings, like others have said, when it is a friend or family member where you know a bunch of people they are great.
When you only know basically the bride and groom it can be less fun.

Normally I LOVE weddings - unless the only people I know are the bride and groom. Then it can be a little awkward.

Yes-If it's someone very close to me.
Otherwise I honestly go because I feel obligated to, we attended a ton of weddings this year so Im also just really tired of them.

I agree. There are a few close friends whose weddings I would LOVE to go to. But the family/work obligation weddings- not so much.

DH and I really enjoy weddings! We LOVE dancing and seeing the different ideas & details people come up with for their weddings.
We had 7 this year... and 4 already that we know of for 2007!!

I like weddings, particularly if it's a close friend or family member but they can become tiresome when you have multiple weddings in a short period of time and none of them are for a special person.

generally i like them. but it depends on the wedding for me more than how many people i know. i like weddings where people are up dancing and partying. at one of those - if you know no one but the bride and groom or a million people, you have a blast. Weddings where no one really dances and the floor is empty may be fun for me if I know people, but aern't really if you don't know anyone.

I like going to weddings-- but we definitelt look mroe forward to ones where we know a lot of people. But, it's an excuse to get dressed up, go to a fancy place and be wined, dined and entertained.
I do hate it when I have a lot going on and I would prefer to just chill at home-- but, other than that-- it's nice.
