Do you and SO have similar political views?
We definitely don't always see eye to eye. Neither of us truly identify with either political party, but I'm certainly more socially liberal than he is. However, we do agree on the issues most important to us.

I am way more interested in politics than he is but we agree on most issues. I tend to be more liberal but what I find funny is that often after I explain my position, he will agree with me.

Nope! We are on extreame other ends of the pole!
We made the decision early on it would be better for our relationship to NOT talk politics.
We do make fun jabs at eachother on occassion, but it's just joking around.

For the most part.
When we first started dating our views were very different... I identified with my parents more since that's what I had grown up with.
My views changed a lot in college, and with further research into the ideals of different candidates.
Our views are much more similar now than they were 6 or 7 years ago.
