i am displaced from this storm and watched many many homes burn to the ground, this comment was completely inappropriate, i would think as someone affected by the storm you would be more sensitive and never wish such distruction on someone,
i thought the original post was recent and thought it was funny in response to all the posts about what to do post sandy
Who cares WHEN she thought this post was from.
It still doesn't make it right to wish someone's house burns down.
It's not like the OP was saying anything wrong or insensitive IMO
She asked if we need a Sandy board.
BIG freaking deal.

From a PP it seems that you have lost everything. Nothing is more devastating than that, and for that, if its true, I wish you a speedy recovery and hope you and your family are ok.
On the other hand, no matter what you are going through, taking out your anger and frustration on someone, on a message board or in real life is not ok. This is a community that could help. Organize. Help with meals, or just a hug and an ear. You behavior is disgraceful.
Think about what YOU are going through, and then what you wished on someone else. Its not right. Its not good. Its not kind.
Truth is Paramount. You owe the OP an apology. You were wrong

Oh good grief, obviously the responder is scorned from the dealings of her house being destroyed (and rightfully so if she thought someone was cracking jokes about Sandy) and didn't look at the date of the OP. Let it go, and move on already!
