Wow, really? I was thinking we'd have to wait until spring because the ground is frozen. Did they charge any more?

Nope. They used a power auger to dig the holes if I remember correctly.

I don't know for sure, but we had to have our septic dug up last January and they had no problem with the ground freezing. So it's definitely a possiblity that they will still do it.

I know they said its best to do it in January vs. later in the winter because I believe there is a point where they will say just wait until spring.

I was told by Amendola's that if the ground is frozen, they don't do it.

Yes I was going to mention that. I saved a lot of money by doing it in January.

You save a TON of money doing it over the winter. They can't install while the ground is frozen but if its not, they're happy to do it!

We had all our posts set in concrete. I think when you do it this way, that it has to be above a certain temp or the concrete will not set. I bet it depends on how you have it installed.

That's correct. Exactly what I would be concerned with, since I'd wonder if the signs of a bad concrete base wouldn't be noticeable until later.

We researched this when we set our arbor feet in concrete but I don't remember what the temp was. Certainly warmer than it is now though.

Yes. Liberty installed our fence end of February/early March when it was still cold.
