She only wears shoes when she gets dressed up. A girl has got to have her accessories!

no..it was pointless...she didn't keep them on. she only wore socks until she could walk (at about 13.5 months)!

until she started walking, only when we went out somewhere, but even then i had to chase after her shoes because they kept falling off!

We never put shoes on DS until he could actually walk.
Also a Pediatric Orthopedist told us the best thing you could do for your child is to not put shoes on them until they can walk, and even then only when they are outside.
Being baerfoot helps with their foot developement much more.
ITA. I didn't put shoes (except Robeez) on DD until she could walk well. She started full-time walking at 11mo and she didn't get a pair of hard-soled shoes until 14mos.
I'd say put a pair of Robeez or Pedipeds on them to complete their outfit.

We just started putting Robeez on DD -she is 8 months. Before that just socks.

socks only - and most of the time i am lucky if he keeps those on! his feet are so long and skinny i have trouble finding socks that fit.
but he is always in his bundle me when we are out so i am not worried about his feet getting cold.

before she was walking mostly socks unless I found a super cute pair or if the outfit really needed them.

Nope. He's not walking yet, so he still doesn't wear shoes. I bought some warm slippers to put on him when it gets too cold for just socks.

DD was nearly 11 months when I bought a pair of fake pedipeds from Target. She had already taken her first steps when I got them. She is almost walking but I still haven't bought her real shoes.

DD wears shoes almost every time we go out. I am addicted to buying them. She has a whole drawer full of shoes! Way more shoes than mommy!

Not really when he was an infant. I got a couple pairs for special occasions but they ended up falling off his feet!

nope barefoot or socks until she started walking.
Sometimes I'd use the Robeez because she'd pull her socks off (only in the winter though)

She started taking steps so we bought her a pair of shoes (which she hates). Up until now, she has been barefoot except recently when the weather got cold and wore socks.
