Daycare prices for infants
Hello everyone!
I am newly pregnant, only 4w3d, but I am already trying to plan for this baby. I am due in Dec 08.
I will unfortunately have to put my baby in daycare at 6-8 weeks old. Can you guys share how much you pay so I can get an approximate amount for what I can expect to pay next year?
Also, if you have any recommendations for the Ronkonkoma or Hauppauge area, it would be greatly appreciated!

At my center it's about $1k a month, Mon-Fri, 7am-5:30, no federal holidays. That was the cheapest center (not the reason why I chose them) I found in my area.
My second choice was $1300 per child and extra (about $150 or so a month) for early morning drop off before 8 am.
It's good you are looking now. You can't be "too early" with chosing a place. Congrats and good luck

I don't have a recommendation for that area but we pay $269/week for that age group

I found ranges to be between250-280 week for infants.
I am going with a private provider for 230 week. Price was NOT why I chose her, I found other private providers even less expensive, but I just love this woman, and her center.

My dd doesn't go here...but tutor time charges $260/wk for that age group.

The place I send DD is $245 a week. When I was calling around, Kindercare was $300, Tutor Time was $252.

I just visited Child Time in Hauppauge and they were $315 a week for an infant.

Wow $315 seems like a lot! They would be the perfect location because I work around the corner from them. I just can't imagine paying that much.... $250 is more in my range....

My daycare is in Queens so it won't help you but it's $290/week 8:00-6. To do early drop off it's an additional $35/week. Not sure how much extra late pickup is, maybe $20/week? We won't need that.
