Curtains up in Living Room (pics)
We weren't sure what to do with the huge sliding glass doors in our living room, but ended up dressing them inexpensively for now. We got the Vivan curtains from Ikea ($14.99 for a 2-pack!) and hung them on an extra long rod.
(don't mind the rockband drums)
We also need a new rug soon... I want to get some opinions. I want color, maybe yellows and greens? I'm having trouble finding what I want... something like this PB rug (that's discontinued):

You might actually be able to find that rug in the Roosevelt Field store or the outlet in Riverhead. I saw it in Roosevelt Field about a month and a half ago.

Love that room!!! That green is the same green as my dining room!! How about a rug like this? Nevermind DC, but the rug actually goes with the green. Our living room right next to the green room is yellow as well.
It has greens, browns, blue, tan in it. We found it at lowes.
I just tried looking for a picture of it on lowes.com but couldn't find it. If you want me to take a closer pic, let me know.

Love how you hung the curtains! Beautiful and great price. 
I really like this rug. It would go with the whole Florida, breezy curtains kind of feel.

The curtains look great! I would go with a green-sih rug instead of a yellow. Ballard has some nice ones (but I am sure you have checked them out! )

The curtains look fantastic. I have a similar issue in our lr...right now we have the venetian blinds up, which I can't stand....I've been wanted to do curtains for awhile now, so I'm glad to see they look so good!!
