crazy weight gain - last 2 weeks of pregnancy
so i have been up 30lbs at 34/35 weeks up to 38 weeks - my weight didnt change - then all of a sudden in a matter of 10 days i have gained 8 lbs!
i am not eating more, maybe less actually, someone tell me its just water!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its probably just water! If it makes you feel any better, I lost 22 lbs in the 3 days after the birth.

how is your BP??? The reason I ask, is my OB told me last week that they would monitor me closely bc if my BP started to rise & I had a sudden weight gain (haven't gained in 4 weeks), that it could be pre-eclampsia.
It also can be water retention especially with this heat & all the drinking.

my BP has been good my entire pregnancy - i am going today at nooon for my 39w appt so i will ask -
definately ask bc my BP has been good the entire pregnancy with a consistent 120/70 & last week (37w) it was higher. Good luck today

same thing happened to me dr says its water rentention. dont worry we r almost there cant wait to b thin again.

I am with you, at this point I've just given in. I am not eating anymore than I was but still gaining and just tell myself I am at the end! Hang in there, you are right there Gabbie!
