Colace Schmolace!
I must have the world's most stubborn intestines because I am apparently immune to what Colace is supposed to do. Let's see what the good doctor says tomorrow when I go for the one hour glucose. FUN TIMES!

Colace did nothing for me except give me intestinal cramping...My Dr. reccomended Senokot which works great! Ask your Dr. if you might try that.

ugh... so sorry to hear that...
what remedied my horrible constipation was eating large salads for lunch, drinking tons of water, and drinking a couple glasses of prune juice every day.

screw the colace les. go with miralax. much better--although it's a softener. it works so well it could probably single handedly get ed to vote for hillary. seriously.

ITA try miralax! i was actually was in ER multiple times while PG bc I was so backed up I couldnt walk from the pain  and my GI and OB decided prescript miralax was the best and i still needed 4 colace before bed, a bowl of fiber one and a decaf latte to actually make me go! i'm still on it 7mos PP

Ice cold prune juice always worked for me. One glass and if you make sure its really cold and drink it fast it doesn't taste the bad.

I've been taking colace with no problems until last week. I went to my dr. yesterday and he recommended miralax.
