Class mom and teacher gifts

Im class mom with another mom in the class. It's only a small preschool class of around 8 or 9 kids. They have 3 teachers. The head, speech teacher and an assistant.

The other class mom and myself were going to ask the moms for $10 per teacher, but we just got a letter saying class moms can only ask $5 per child.
You still think we should have eveeryone chip in then if they'd like to do their own separate gifts. Any ideas what to get the teachers?
Before the preschool DS was in daycare all day. About 10 hours a day so I gave generous gifts. I would like to be generous. Now DS goes to school everyday for 2.5 hours a day

My 2 year old goes to school 2 mornings a week for 2 hrs each and has 2 teachers! I got them each a wristlet from Vera Bradley...spent $25 on each! I think that's generous for the amount of time she is there! I'm actually debating whether or not to include a $10 DD gift card each???

I have been class mom for both kids..... I would collect the $5 for each of the parents for the teachers...

Then, if you feel that is not enough your can do an extramgiftmon your own... But you do not have to...


I always give with the class and do a little extra from just my kids... In my son school we are only allowed to give $10 for holiday gift. I have already gone and bought an extra gift for the teacher...
