Christmas tree lights
I'm thinking I might want to change to white this year...

We LOVE a really festive and colorful tree. We use multicolored lights and beads. If we were going to do anything different, we would do a theme tree where it was one color or shade of color. Kind of like the ones you see at Target, where they are all purple, or all blue.

I've always done white in the past, but now having DD old enough to take notice, I'm considering switching one of our trees to multi-colored lights.
As a child, I know I really enjoyed the colored lights...they just seemed so magical. I can't say the white lights had the same effect on me.

Well personally i like all white or all blue lights on the tree. Thats how we have done at my parents for years. This is mine and DH's frist christmas living together and he wanted the multi color lights so i broke and did multi color.

We do the multi-color lights. I like the look of white lights on a tree, but I just can't get away from the multi-color lights...it's tradition!

We have a fake tree, but we wrap white lights around the tree base/pole, and then along the branches we have colored lights. It adds a little bit of depth to the degree with the extra lights, IMO.

Multi on tree- but we are changing this year I think to white.
Sometimes the multi clashes too much with the ornaments- I want to stay more organized/themed this year...

Same here. Growing up we had multi-colored lights and I loved the tree but when I got my own I went with all white...and now I love that.
