Christening gift for Godparents?
I was just thinking....am I supposed to give my DD's godparents a gift for the Christening? (I hope not...it is tomorrow! )

It really doesn't matter. You aren't obligated to do so.
I bought the godmother a willow tree figure called guardian angel..its an angel helping a little boy walk..i thought it was perfect.
I bought my brother, the godfather, a borat tee-shirt! LOL! I also got them both a framed pic of johnny.
It was all very inexpensive, just a little gesture.

A gift is not necessary.
I wanted to give the godparents a framed pic of the 3 of them together (after the fact), but I didn't get any good shots (she was sick and cranky).

I didnt give a gift-
However I did send flowers/cookie tray when I asked them- so that was a gift in itself...
