cheap area rugs?
I want to find some reasonably priced area rugs for bedrooms in our new house. They can be so expensive? Any suggestions for cheaper places to buy them? TIA!

i was actually in century 21 today, and saw some lady pushing a cart with 3 rugs- i didnt even know they sold them there!

Kohls & target & even Kmart sometimes carry nice styles that are very affordably priced. When our puppy was still in the chewing stage I bought an area rug at kmart that I really loved even though it was temporary.

They are mostly solid colors, but can have textures and designs in them - prebound remnants from Montauk Carpet in Farmingdale. We just got a 9x13 rug for $160
theey also have remnants you can cut and bind, but binding is $1.50 per linear foot, with the prebound rugs, binding is included.

I just ordered a 5X7 and it was $60 and the 8X10 wasnt much more! I got 4 rugs for about $150 and its free shipping.
all my area rugs are from JCP (except my 2 door mats from Kohls) and they are very good quality
ETA: they come quick. I got mine in about 6 days but MIL has ordered rugs a lot from them and got them in 2 days
