There still needs to be a solution from the garage, the co-op, tapes need to be viewed, etc. I think the gun has been jumped a bit. in TV, someone reaching out to her with interest in a story doesn't mean that it will be on the 5 o'clock news next week...it will take weeks. They will investigate it just as much as Beth. Segments like that are primed as a "feel good" sock it to the bad man...if they don't feel like they have a strong case or that it won't be a dramatic "win" they won't air it...
sometimes people just have to hear the press is involved and they fold...
ETA: if that lady who slammed the door in that other woman's face acts anything like that, GOOD! And maybe that woman who got her car keyed does an "anonymous" interview about her prior experience (think dark shadow interview)
I agree. It's the same tactic as getting a lawyer involved - often times people fold when that happens too.
Sounds like if CBS doesn't have a good producer, we know of one...

I think this is a good thing because it is an underlying fear that ANYONE has when handing their keys over to a garage clerk.
This will expose what REALLY happens to your car - and in your case, the horrendous results.

Remember how bad it felt this morning when people didnt even say hello back to you? It is going to be worse if you have the Channel 2 news crew there making an example of of the place.
People do not want the place that they live to be exposed in such a way, even if what happened to you is awful (And I think what happened to you SUC&S big time, I hope they find out who did this and justice is served).

that's not what they are doing
they are doing something different and the only way it would air is if they did something else
so it's not like they are going there with camera accussing people of stuff- they can't

beth everyone is going to have an opinion..
i think its a good idea.. a lot of times when you get press involve, it gets solved faster because they dont want the negativbe exposure..... what have you got to lose???
