Carpeting 1 Room? Recommedations, please!
Do you think it's worth it to carpet 1 room? We really want 1 room done now and 2 others later (want to do some construction first). Does anyone know anyone who can do one room at a reasonable price? I don't mind going with a recommendation vs a retail store.

We used Jim Flack carpet in Farmingdale.
It's a carpet warehouse. Good quality; great prices. They can install next day. Other places quoted us $1400 to carpet our (large) BR. W/ Jim Flack, we paid $650 including installation. Lots of carpets to choose from.

we only had our Den carpeted...i think the room is 12 x 13 or 12 x 15..something like that.
It was about $600 (don't remember exactly) inlcuding everything.
we used "My carpet - everyone loves Barry's) or something like that. it's on Merrick Rd, in Valley Stream
