I believe all train stations don't require permits on the weekend.
I have parked at Hicksville which is ALL permits, on weekends with no issue.
The signs say monday to friday

Can you park at the Wantagh train station on the weekend without a permit?
In Wantagh, the permit is only needed from 6 am to 1 pm on weekdays. No permit needed at all other times.
