Can we talk about Theresa Caputo / LI Medium?

I'm really late to this one. I just started DVR'ing it and I'm hooked. I have been taking a very hard look at life and death and spirituality as a result.

As someone who didn't believe in life after death before, the information there has rocked me. It comforts me, and I hope beyond hope that it's true. Has anyone heard anything to the contrary?

One thing that I keep coming back to over and over is... Is my Nanny watching me poop? Can my Uncle Freddy see me in the shower?

Come on, I can't be the ONLY person afraid of that.

I was late to get hooked as well.
She is very believable.
I am usually a very logical person and don't go for stuff like that, but some of the stuff she knows- well there is no explanation for it other than spiritual

What I love the most is when she says that our departed loveds ones "Held the soul" of our babies before they were born into this world.
That makes me cry every single time - to think that my DD's soul was held by my deceased MIL or my grandmother, etc- before she entered the physical world and that even though they never got to see her in person, they know her.

I agree, that's something that is so sweet and unexpected. Did you see the one where she went on the road and surprised a Mom and her son, and the son attended the reading about his Dad who had passed? That devastated me. I'm tearing up now just thinking about it.

I'm normally a total skeptic but I can't help but love her and the show. I cry every episode too. I love seeing someone get a message that they really needed to hear to bring some peace to their lives.

I am a believer.

I've been to 2 of her live group readings (a few hundred people, I didn't get a reading) and she is EXACTLY the same in person as she is on the show. I thought the show may be edited and have stuff she may be wrong about cut out, but NOPE! She is awesome. I hope to get a reading someday!

I absolutely love Theresa, she seems so genuine and real- something you rarely see nowadays especially on a reality show. I'm on the waiting list for an appointment, but its 3 years long lol

I dont watch the show, but one day I turned on and saw her in a store I used to go to in Hicksville, and she gave a reading to a random person.

A few months ago I was in the samw store talking to the people that worked there. It JUST so happened that the person got the reading in the episide was there at the same time!

We chatted for a few min. After speaking to this woman I am convinced Theresa is for real.

I love her. At first I thought she was going to be fake but I never ever heard someone say a negative thing about her. There is something comforting about her, maybe it is bc she is from the island. I am on the waitlist now and been on for a year.

You know, at first I thought I'd like a reading and then thought... but why? She spends time validating things about them, and then pretty much says a lot of the same things - this is their way of saying that they're with you, that they're a witness to your lives.

So if I believe that, then all I need to do is remember my loved ones who have passed, think good thoughts and memories about them, and I am keeping them "alive" in my heart and mind.

I've started doing this with my husband too (even though he's a skeptic), talking about his Grandma with him. Prompting him to remember things about her and tell me stories.

Except for some guilt that I've been carrying around about my Nanny, it's enough for me. I don't need her to tell me she forgives me, I know she does, it's just something stuck in my mind and a reading probably won't change that.

I am a 10000% a believer. But her waitlist is 2+ years long. BF just did a reading with a psychic medium, Jim Fargiano, and it was unbelievable! I made the appointment. I didn't tell them he was coming, his name, or that the appointment was for him. When we got there BF went to the restroom. The medium came out and said "are you ready?" And I explained that BF would be getting her reading. BF came out of the restroom and went in. An hour later, he came out. Shocked at the things he knew. Both of his parents are deceased. Both parents came through and said things of significance, that nobody would know. Gave BF a lot of peace.

I have an appointment with a psychic medium Dawn Joly in Smithtown next week. I'll let you know how it goes. I can't wait.

I've never watched the show but I know someone who was read by her. Her son had just died (only 25, car accident) and her friend had tickets and invited her. She was picked and said the reading was great, much longer than what they show on the air. It gave her some peace.

A classmate of mine had a reading, and I watched it. My classmate was very impressed and felt she was the real deal.

My nephew who is 4 says some pretty out there things about his grandfather, who died in 1996. Some of the details make us wonder because he knows he has a grandfather who died, but he otherwise doesn't know a lot. But out of the blue he says things about his mom and her dad when she was a kid and we are all like

My co-worker has seen her three times. She lost her Son when he was a baby and she had a meeting with Theresa. Theresa asked her if her Niece was getting braces that day. She said she didn't know. Theresa than said her Son was watching her Niece and was laughing because of her braces. My co-worker called her Brother and it was true, she got braces. Theresa also started to draw a diagram of her house. She then circled a room and asked who's room that was. My co-worker said that's her daughter's room and Theresa said that her Son is always there with her.

So after hearing that, I am a true believer! I have been watching her for a while now. Also lived in Hicksville my whole life until April of 2012 and was hoping to run into her but never have. She's the real deal!

I believe her. I think she's for real. I watch the show all the time & it's so amazing to me. I would love to have a reading with her.
