It was really strange. With DS, I had to wait 6 weeks and I did, but with DD, I only had to wait 2 weeks.

Never told not to and I came home on a Tuesday and drove the next day.
I was never told anthing either. I drove the day after discharge - 5 days after the C-section.

I was never told not to drive. I drove to my follow-up appointment a week later. I was fine.

I drove 2 weeks after. That wasn't soo bad. Waiting to take DD out in public till she got all of her shots is what really killed me.

I was told 3 weeks and I listened, DH was home with me so he could drive me where I needed to go.

I went to my Dr to have my staples taken out. He told me at that appointment I could start driving again but to take it easy. I was driving that weekend.
Same for me.
