building a website
I have been spending months getting all the text, pictures, etc. to create a website to sell the jewelry I make. One of the final steps is to find a way to collect money. I thought PayPal would be easy to do.
Just last night my son learned I need to be incorporated in order to
collect sales tax. Does anyone have any idea at all how that works -
can I do it online, do I need a lawyer, is it expensive?... anything
you know would help. I would love to get some information this
week-end and don't know where to turn. This is awfully frustrating considering the work I have put into it so far....I can't help back down now.

Dh and I are in the process of setting up an online company also. We actually paid this place to figure what all needs to happen and then they send us everything and we just sign. It was so easy for us to get incorporated.

I Inc'd my Dh's business online. I think I went thru the state website. It was $150ish. My accountant did the whole IRS part though because I just became too busy to deal with it.

Thanks so much for the responses. Although my husband wasn't thrilled, he is going to let me do billing through his credit accounts. Whew. What a relief to have that on his shoulders. Lol.
