unfortunately, the website does not tell you WHAT the violations are. Sometimes, the violations are paperwork related, and sometimes its safety related, ie, not putting medicine high enough from a child's reach. your best bet is to call the child care suffolk or nassau and speak to a rep in the referral office. i did this over the vacation, since my aunt works over there. we were able to access the computer and find out what specifically the violations were for several daycares that i am interested in.
