BTDT moms...how to teach the concept of sharing?
I feel like all i do lately is put my 22 month old son in time outs for hitting his little brother(11 months) or pushing him away & saying NO! MINE!!
Can anyone suggest what they did that worked?
I know this is normal and hes still very young...but its ALL day long!!!

I need help too, because my son is 2-1/2 and is terrible! He doesn't even let other kids on the same piece of playgorund equipment if he is on it! It's so embarrassing. I just keep telling him about sharing and encorage him to do so. But at the same time, I think its all normal.

I take my DD's toys away and tell her she can't have them until she shares. If your DC is too young to understand that maybe say, "ok its your turn with the toy, but can you find a toy your younger brother could play with?"

Exactly what I do. Especially when she was younger. If she knew she had a toy he wanted, she knew she had to find one for him first. Now that they are both older and pushing and pulling and screaming, I resort to taking the toy away and putting it up.

I'm not sure since this is my first time around, but I think she's learning with the dogs.....
I got pics of her taking the dogs' chew bone while he was chewing it and then he'd take it back.
