BTDT moms with #2 or more - pregnancy and symptoms ?

Im pregnant with my second and we aren't finding out the sex this time either. Im 14 weeks and all i do is compare the pregnancies - i want to find out the gender so bad - but i really want to be surprised so trying my best to hold out until the big day- so my question to you ladies is this:

Did you feel/ look any different than when you were pregnant with your first child?

Did your face change? Hair? Gain weight different places?

WIth my daughter i was never sick and so far this pregnancy i've felt great(knock on wood). I did have a day of heartburn before I found out I was pregnant but up until now - no symptoms except for the growing belly and occasional cramps.

I didn't feel movement with my daughter till 17 wks and so far I haven't felt the baby move (except maybe once - well at least I thought).

I feel huge. My belly has grown alot faster and i showed much quicker than with my first - but they say that is normal. I haven't gained any weight yet - but the belly has grown - still can't believe im thinner now than when i first got pregnant with my daughter.

I feel like my face is chubbier now - and my skin isn't as clear as it was with my daughter. My hair is also alot thinner - i wonder if that means something...

Ohh and I was all belly with my daughter - this pregnancy i seem to be carrying lower......

Were your pregnancies different ? What gender did you have?


ETS - Ohh and my boobs are huge already - with my daugther I wore the same cup bra throughout the whole pregnancy.

Ive been pregnant with both boys and girls and I want to say that the boys made me overall "sicker" than the girls did...

My pregnancies were completely different.

1st pregnancy
barely any ms
weight gain - 25lbs & carried it all over
tired in the beginning, but otherwise a perfect pregnancy
Craved spinach

2nd pregnancy
ms - not horrible but often
complete exhaustion (could have to do with running after a toddler/working f/t)
more emotional
weight gain - total weight I think was 12 lbs, carried only in the belly.
Although I had more ms, I felt a lot healthier with my 2nd.
Craved eggplant

no difference in skin or hair but I did start out with less hair in the 2nd pregnancy because of the pp hair loss.

I am not finding out with this one and didn't with the last one and so far my pregnancy this time is a lot different than last time. A lot more normal and easier - I say. I understand how you feel - I am curious if the pregnancy is just different and if it is a different sex because of that

1st pregnancy
-m/s throughout entire pregnancy (on and off)
-gained all over and quickly (except not much in boobs - wore same bras until like 8 months) but had a pretty round belly once it popped
-lots of aversions and cravings
-skin and hair horrible

2nd pregnancy - ???
-m/s died off by like 11/12 weeks
-weight gain has been minimal (boobs and belly only) - didn't gain until 21 week appt but belly showed quicker -much more tired by night time (but do have a 2yr old at home)
-more emotional - esp early on
-no real cravings or aversions
-feel like my belly is not as round but could be early still (only 27 weeks)
-skin and hair not too bad of change - not great but not huge difference

When i was PG with DD, i got sick, this one i was nauseous, but no vomitting. My back hurts this time, didnt the first. I felt movement earlier this time, belly got bigger faster this time...but overall, both were good pregnancys. SO far i dont have the same high risk complications that i had at the end with DD. Im having a boy this time :)

both my pregnancies were exactly the same. i carried small with both, i had the same type of all day morning sickness, i even gained exactly 35 lbs with each one. and my first was a , and second was a .

Ah Antonina!

With both PG I have been the same!!!!! Different sexes!! We swore up and down that it was another girl since everything was the same up until the sono!

I'm all belly, the belly itself is bigger but the weight gain is less than half! Carrying MUCH lower. My boobs I think have been bigger, but DH doesn't see it, so maybe not. No PG symptoms with either PG.

Nothing has changed....both times it's been all belly, no butt, no facial changes, NOTHING.

Feeling different is inevitable because you already have 1 child which is what I feel is keeping my weight gain down. I'm more tired and more moody, again...all related to having another child to care for on top of everything else.

Hope that helps....but I think it's all how your body takes to being PG....your skiin and hair changes could be because your hormones changed after having DD.

With me at least, both my PG symptoms were completely different and I had 2 boys. So I don't think the symptoms really matter. Good luck!

This pregnancy is so much different than my first.

With my DD I gained a lot of weight in my hips/butt/thigh area. My boobs didn't really change and I felt good all the time.

This time around with a DS, I am all belly and my boobs are huge. I also have a lot more aches and pains than I did with DD.

well this is my 2nd time around and our third baby. My whole family thought for sure this was a . I had 2 the first time and found that pregnancy much easier believe it or not. This pregnancy was SO different. Skin was bad, back pain, asthma...all by 10 weeks!! We all laughed when we found out it was another . My doctor told me I could have 5 boys and each time could be different. Do you have a vibe??? I was the only one who thought boy this time and I was right! Mommies always know best

My pregnancies so far have been completely different and we are having another

#1
M/s was 24/7 dizzies, puked every am til about 10-11 weeks
Gained 50+ lbs
Carried very high
No heartburn
Always out of breath
Had preterm contractions-bedrest and meds
Carried all around
My face didn't change at all
Got linea niagra

#2
Puked my guts out for 1 night after eating chinese food, otherwise m/s was very light completely gone by 8 weeks
So far at 31 weeks only gained 32 lbs
Carrying very low and all in front
No LInea Niagra
Feel more in shape
My face changed very early in pg.
EXTREMELY bad heartburn from day 1

Since i am carrying all out front my family is convinced the sonogram was wrong and i am having a not a


ETA: My boobs grew so much with Gianna, but didn't hurt as much as they do with this pg. I can't even touch them this time around.

The first half of both pregnancies were COMPLETELY different - and I have the same sex.

I will say at the end, I am looking, gaining the same.

You will pop and grow faster b/c your ab muscles are not as tight.
