Brand new Chicco travel system for sale
I posted on the parenting board but figured you ladies would like to know.
I have a brand new in the box never opened Chicco Cortina travel system in Discovery. BRU won't take it back
It was purchased for $290, just trying to get the $290 back or best offer.

ummm..why wont they take it back?
i have the same system, but at my shower i got 2 hichairs and lots of stuff not on my registry and my DH thinks he can just go and return it.
im thinking it may be more difficult than we think.

Nothing wrong with it. I have one already. This is my 2nd baby. Someone thought they were doing me a favor by buying me a stroller by not asking me what I needed. Unfortunately I lost the receipt b/c I told them I had one already so they gave me the receipt; besides they bought it from the TRU that is going out of business on 347 and its final sale It was never even opened.

If you add the things not on your registry to your registry-you can mark them as purchased(or change the qty purchased) yourself. I was able to return a few things without a receipt this way.

thanks! im going to try that. so much of it is clothing that i dont need though..dh used to work for TOys, and he says he know which codes and stuff are for BRU so i have a big sorting job ahead of me

I had 2 items from tru that I returned to bru-with a receipt though.

Try a different store. This past weekend I returned a monitor we rec'd at our shower that wasn't on our registry & had no receipt for with no problem (& I was totally expecting one...) We, of course, didn't get money back, but did get a credit for the full price.
