chicco cortina travel system
My sister just called my and told me that the cortina chicco travel system I registered for has been recalled. I thought just the base for the car seat had been recalled but she said she talked with a BRU associate, she lives in CT, and they said the whole system was recalled. My MIL already purchased it a few weeks ago, has anyone else heard of this news or has any info?

I just recieved it this past wkend at my shower, we put it together and everything...  I havent heard anything

it's only for the base but BRU pulled the full systems from their stores.

okay so I just called 1-800-807-8817
and asked about the recall, they said there's a recall for manufact. dates- march and april of 08 only. So you need to check on the bottom of the base. Mine was 11/07 and he said that was fine.

According to the website:
CHICCOUSA
The manufacturer dates in question run from Feb 08 until March 08. Seems as if there is a bit of conflicting information.
