Booo. I think I may have made an etsy mistake. added pic Pic back and I added hair lol
so, I accepted a bid from a really nice designer but I think the prince is a little too much for her and I don't really like the way it's coming out, but I dont' think she can fix it so I am not sure what to say.
I feel really badly.
I originally just asked her to do the design and I would print but she said she would print so I said ok.
now that I don't really like them I want to go a different route (and ask my brother to do it. I dind't think of it until I saw his sketch book this weekend. he's great and the style is right up his alley. he could even make the prince look like luce)
I will still pay the $15 I said I would pay for the image, but I am not going to use them and I feel guility about it.
do you think she will find out?  
this is what she sent me the other day, obviously it's not finished yet...but I don't know It's just not what I imagined.
dh told me I need to slow down on my great ideas.  why do I make everything more than it needs to be!!!

No, I don't think she will find out . Just pay the $15 and be done with it. I understand that you feel badly, I would too, but if it doesn't match your "vision" then move on and find something that does.

 she told me she was having trouble with his hair! 
but now, I have this poor woman working on something I will never use.
but I am too much of an uss to tell her to abandon ship. I would feel too badly.
so, she will finish. I will pay her and then never use it again.

Don't feel badly about telling her you changed your mind. That is why she did a sample for you, so you can ok it or not.
From personal experience, I would not take money from someone, no matter how much time I put into making a sample of something, if they didn't like it.

OK Le petit prince is one of my favorite books, I actually first read it in the french version first, and that aint no petit prince...
Just pay her and forget it, she'll never know

after the disaster on the first hand, I figured he'd be better off without the other one
Jess, depending on what my brother says/can do (he's only 19 with a not so great computer for graphics right now) I may take you up on it.

No problem... see what your brother can do. If anything DH can probably quickly redraw a pic you find on the internet. It honestly looks like this person is using that "paint" program that comes on your computer, not photoshop or indesign. Did she have good reviews?
