Bloody nose/nose bleeds?

Anyone else have this? Is it common at all? I thought it was because of the dryness in my room, but DH is fine. I tried a humidifier, but it doesn't help.

At first, it was just like, dried blood (sorry TMI).

But this morning I had a nose bleed for about 5 minutes.

I have thrombophilia (a blood clotting thing) that I only found out when pregnant. Do you think this has anything to do with blood clotting? Should I tell the doc?

I would bring it up to your doctor, but nose bleeds are common with pregnancy.

totally normal. ive had them for literally the last 3 months. i have blood clotting issues also but im fairly sure it has nothing to do with that. if you are on blood thinners like aspirin or lovenox though it might bleed longer. its not an issue unless it REALLY doesnt stop or happens realllllly frequently - like several times a day where you are losing a ton of blood.

I get them once a week. Not full on nose bleeds, but blood in my nose or snot

I had a dream I had one last night, but I don't think that counts!

I was JUST reading in What to Expect that they are common in pregnant women.

Everytime I blow my nose there is blood! I was told it is very common during pregnancy!

It's totally normal. I had serious nosebleeds everyday for WEEKS and the doctor said it was completely fine and they would stop eventually - which they did.

I had it once and before that I can't rem the last time I got one - like years - I am guessing it is just a symptom, as my skin is like 100 times drier and I am guessing my nose is as well

its def from pregnancy,
ive never had a nose bleed, a few weeks ago, i would blow my nose and there would be blood mixed with snot! sorry tmi!!

my friend asks me all the time, and shes like "so any nose bleeds yet" it happened to her a bunch of times while she was prego

I had nosebleeds with both pregnancies - they are very common. But bring it up to your ob at your next appt.

I get them everyday. My doctor told me that it's completely normal.

I also have a blood clotting issue and take lovenox so I was worried, but after speaking to my dr, he said it was fine as long as it's not happening out of no where and too much.

Usually, I would get them when I puked. (from the pressure I guess).

And when I blow my nose, I usually see blood.

Talk to your dr though since ou have a blood clotting issue.

up until recently (im 26w), every time i blew my nose it was bloody. i got 2 actual nosebleeds. i tried the humidifier but it didnt work much. supposedky its the increased blood flow in your body

I know it's a preg symptom.

I haven't had a nose bleed..but I've had lots of blood when I blow my nose.

totally normal.. i have had them constantly .. i am at 28 weeks now..

Almost every time I blow my nose I have a little blood and I had one nose bleed, my first in my life.

ugh...every.single.day.

my doc said its totally normal and not to worry--but its annoying as heck!!

Ugh, my nose was a faucet with DD#1. I was told it was common...not that that made them any better

It's reassuring to know it's just another symptom of pregnancy. I'll recheck with my doc just to make sure, but thanks for making me feel better about it!!
