BIG News!
We wanted to wait until it was official, and now it is..
We went into contract last night on a house!
We are buying a 4br 2 bath colonial in Floral Park, Specifically the west end.
We had been looking on and off for about a year, and this house popped up. It has been on the market quite a few months and was already reduced once.
The owners needed to sell- they had already moved to NC. So we made them an offer of a little less than 10% of asking price, and they accepted.
So, WE ARE BUYING A HOUSE>>>
I'm very excited and VERY Nervous..
We locked in our mortgage rate on Friday 5.875 and we are expected to close on or about January 30.
Wanted to share with all of you!

Wonderful news! And great interest rate! We bought a house in September and our interest rate is 6.325%...we'll probably end up refinancing eventually.
