To any of the moms who read the previous post, or any moms who have no idea about that post - there are bees, or a beehive or something, at the park. I was there today, and another parent alerted me to the bees exiting an area at the bottom of the twisty slide in the smaller aparatus. The park dept had just been there and left, otherwise I would have let them know about it.
I put in a call to the Nassau county dept of parks and they returned my call and said they would call the company that takes care of bees. They don't know when it will be taken care of. I think it might help if they received more calls. If any of you frequent the park and want to express your concern, I'm sure an additional phone call would help if you have the time.
