Babysitting $$ question/suggestions?
What would you guys pay an 18 yr old watching 2 kids (2.5 yr old and 1 yr old)?
She'll probably only watch the kids in the evening or at night for a few hours or so when my DH and I want to go out.
What's the going rate these days?

I'd say $10/hr if the kids are sleeping the majority of the time. If they're up, $11 or $12?

I pay 10 for 2 kids 2 and 6 months old for 2 days for 6 hours a day. HTH

Daycare teachers with early childhood degrees charge $11.

Around $10 an hour. If they ask for a little more and your really comfy with them i probalby would pay a little more for the extra comfort.

I wouldn't pay more than $10
$15-20 for a more mature and experienced babysitter.

I have 2 high school seniors watching my girls during the day...I pay them $10 bucks an hour, my girls are 34 and 21 months old.

The girl or her mom (who ever is available) charge me $12 because I am very good friends with one of her clients. If I didn't know her through someone she said she charges $15
