Baby brontosaurus- 37 week dr update-Now with pics!!!
Freakin' OY!!!! That's how I sum it up. The amniotic fluid has increased 50% in a week. Just so you know how much I have in there: My 10 pound baby is swimming around and is not cramped. Does this explain the fact that my belly arrives 2 minutes into a room before I do? I think so.
I am being sent to a high risk specilaist on Wednesday so they can figure out what to do. I believe I'm a medical phenom!  Since the baby is swimming around, they can't guarantee what position he'll be in when I go into labor. I could've scheduled my c-section, but they said it's best to do so once I go to the specialist. There's a chance I might have to deliver at a different hospital.
I am not dilated or looking close to labor. But the doctor said even if I went into labor tonight, I have to get to the hospital immediately. The excessive fluid can flush out the umbilical cord and other necessities and the baby will be stuck inside. Or, the baby's foot (or other body part) could slide out first. It made me wonder if I could tickle his foot hanging out of my coochie. I never said I was fully sane. 
We are praying he stays put another week as we officially move on Thursday. Although I'm obviously in pain, I'm doing pretty darn good. I do wish I could pop my tummy like a balloon. I wonder what the record is for weight loss during labor.

I hope Baby brontosaurus does stay put at least another week! It sounds as if he might.
Wow--you must be uncomfortable with a baby that size and so much fluid to boot.

oh kelly, 50% more fluid.. you better be home when your water breaks ... if its not a trickle is sure will be a major gush!!
what hosp might you go to ? stony brook?
at least the dr s are taking precautions.
I just dont understand why they wont just give you a csection now... its not like the baby isnt term.
you deserve to go in the books on the hugest belly!

OMG.
I was in misery with my belly at 38 weeks and simply couldn't take much more...I was in heaven to be in labor.
I don't know how you walk around with that much belly! I've never seen such a belly! I'm in shock...I really am. wow.
I hope that giant is out soon just so you can move around yourself!
