Are you waiting to TTC?

We're waiting until the end of the year to TTC for a variety of reasons. But I'm so ready NOW! I can't stop looking at baby stuff. I almost followed a woman the other day because I was trying to check out her stroller!

Is anyone else waiting and going totally nuts, too???

We're waiting until we go on vacation so we can BD to our hearts content, as soon as we go on vacation it's on. Why are you waiting?

I wanted to try to get pg right after we got married in Nov...my DH wanted to wait. We started trying in May when we had both been on the same page. I was totally obsessed for the 6 months we waited.

I'm waiting because I am being treated for a medical issue. Next cycle will be our first month trying since April.

YES I am SOOOO ready now and want to start. But DH wants more time unfortunately. UGH!!

So im off the pill in Jan and told him we have to start n Feb. Hes cool w/ it (for now )

yes, we are waiting until we buy a house. we just started house hunting but i have no idea how long it will take us to find a house. it is hard to wait, especially b/c almost all of my friends have children. but i know that we are doing it for the right reasons and doing what is best for us (and our future children).

instead of focusing on how we aren't TTC yet, we are trying to focus on each other and enjoying our alone time.

I waited and now I'm feeling sorry that I waited. DH was ready last year, and I wasn't, so he said it's ok when your ready we'll start.

And now we've been trying 3 months and nothing -- I know 3 months isn't that long, but I didn't think it would take so long

DH and I agreed to hold off until October when my BC pills run out and then sit down and discuss the real possibility of starting TTC

I still have 1 more year of teaching before tenure and then I wouldnt mind starting ttc

I feel like i have such baby fever and dh is ready too. but i am a teacher and want to try and have the baby born in March-May so i thought i would go off the pill this march.

I would love to be PG now, but we are waiting till next July to start TTC. All DH asked for is to go to Europe before we have kids. We already booked a cruise for next July.

DH and I would ideally like to start really TTC in October, but my doctor took me off the pill in July so August has been the first month off the pill. We are taking the "if it happens" mentality.

I am waiting another month for medical reasons. It may not seem long to others but for me it has been...

I have never wished a summer away before and I truly did this year.

We're waiting until the end of the year - If it were up to DH, we would have started a lot sooner -
He's ready - I'm not. - Partially
b/c I feel like he's ready for the IDEA of a baby, not the reality of "ok Mr & Mrs. K - you get to take this Baby HOME and care for it and raise it and pay for it for the rest of your life !!!!" -

We are doing the same thing. It would be fine if it happened now. If nothing happens between now and next March, that's when we'll start to actively TTC. We're going away at the end of March and thought that would be a great "kick off" to TTC..

I just went off the pill this month (July was my last month on them). We're not necessarily "trying" ie not tracking my ovulation, charting ect. It's more of what ever happens, happens kind of thing. If we don't conceive by Dec. I Will go back to some form of BCC and then really start trying again in July. With the nature of my business it's ideal for me to give birth between April-July (my slow season).

we are waiting till at least next year, DH just got laid off and i want to make sure he is secure in whatever new job he gets before i get PG

We are waiting too. I have only been out of school and in my job for a little less than 2 years and I want to establish my job first plus I have a few weddings next year and one that I am in. We also want to get some things around the house done first before we have a child--I don't want to be doing major renovations with a baby in the house. We will probably start in about a year.

Im on the 5 year plan

I like to lurk TTC so I can educate myself so I dont waste time when I want to start trying!
