Re: Are you a dinner party person?

nope! I don't host or attend many. I'm anti-social(J/K). I don't do dinner parties really.

Throw one chica and you can invite ME!

With the right group, I love them. With the wrong group, they can seem like an eternity Chat Icon

I'm not a fan of formal dinner parties. I am all for completely casual dinners with friends.

Re: Are you a dinner party person?

I like hosting parties....but not formal sit down dinner parties. I like informal parties when I make bite sized food and everyone grabs at stuff.

Re: Are you a dinner party person?

when our house in shape, we do like to have people over. Once we finish our backyard this summer, I'm sure the BBQ will be getting quite a work out!

Re: Are you a dinner party person?

I love hosting dinner parties. I just like it when it is one or two couples; more than that and I get overwhelmed. I want to be able to enjoy the conversation and not be in the kitchen ALL night long.

In theory, I'd love to host as well as attend. But we don't have an FDR, so it would have to be buffet.

Funny I dont recall being invited to one!Chat Icon

We dont throw dinner parties - wed much rather go out to eat and have someone else take care of all of that for us! We have been invited to some though....

Re: Are you a dinner party person?

I like to give them....unfortunately nobody else seems interested in returning the invite...they would all rather go out.

We do a few BBQs too, and regular parties. We definitely entertain more than anyone else family or friends.

When I lived in Spain we had people over every weekend and sometimes during the week too. So now seems very tame to me!

Re: Are you a dinner party person?

When we buy a house, I'd like to have dinner parties although everyone lives too far away to just stop by for dinner.

Re: Are you a dinner party person?

I prefer cocktail parties. Formal sit-down dinner parties I don't like. And I could never have one in my house - too small!Chat Icon
