anyones dc have a reaction to hib shot?
I dk if its even a reaction...all I know is Max is screaming non-stop since he got the shot this afternoon.
It is his second one,after the first shot they immed got a cold so I couldn't tell.
Anyones dc experience excessive******I mean excessive crankiness?
He also is breaking both his front teeth in...but they are mostly in..so i just dk..you cannot put him down at ALL.***********i FEEL SO BAD

DS did after his first one. He was screaming about 2 hours after he got it. I couldn't figure out the problem , then took his pants off. His legs had red bumps all over him and his feet began to balloon. I talked with the dr and she sais to monitor him. Within an hour his legs went back to normal and so did he. Weird!

NO..NONE OF that so I think...I haven't noticed but this kid is never unhappy---he is FREAKING out...since 2.00 non-stop even with tylenol, I just dk,...u cannot put him down for a second.
Is your sons reaction common?????
was that his first hib shot?
are they giving him a 2nd and 3rd?

He is getting the second and third and I dread it!!!! He normally is so happy and he was a crazy mess in those hours after the shot. We did find out, weeks after, that he got the recalled shot.  We will never know if it was a normal reaction to the shot, or if he had a reaction since it was recalled for the potential of infection. Guess we'll find out partially when he gets his next round.

Wow - my son had red spots on his legs and ears after his 3rd hib, polio and MMR shot - the spots got REALLY bad and they diagnosed him with HSP (nothing major, just scary looking). Along with it he had arthritis pain in his joints. Doesn't sound the same since he wasn't screaming - this rash came a week later and we don't know if it was related to the shots or not. Not sure if that helps, but htey can def have weird reaction to the shots!

YES! I was asking myself "why did I get this" after a while...  He was fine the next day though.

yes, after the second one... he woke up screaming and I couldnt calm him down for an hour... then I gave him some tylenol and he fell asleep...
