Anyone interested in adopting a cat?
I posted on this earlier this week. The sellers we just bought our house from abandoned their cat.  My husband and I cannot keep her. She's front declawed and needs a home desperately. I've been actively trying to find her a home, but I'm not having any luck. Anyone?? I'm willing to donate $$$. Thanks.

Again, I think that is horrible that they would do that! Especially a declawed cat! It makes me so angry! I hope you contacted the police and filed a complaint. I can't take in cats, unfortunately, but look on www.Petfinder.org. They do courtesy postings and have a list of shelters.

Again, I think that is horrible that they would do that! Especially a declawed cat! It makes me so angry! I hope you contacted the police and filed a complaint. I can't take in cats, unfortunately, but look on www.Petfinder.org. They do courtesy postings and have a list of shelters.
I've been to petfinder.com but to no avail. I'm in such a horrible situation right now because of this cat.

There is a no-kill shelter in Northport. Its called Grateful Paw shelter. Its actually in E. Northport I think. They wont kill the cat. They are non profit and run off donations...maybe if you bring the cat you can bring a little food or some money for it. Poor cat, I still cant believe those a$$holes left it.

I think I was there. Is this place by Warner Road off Jericho? I went to about 6 shelters in the Huntington/Smithtown area. I even went to some Pet Stores and I had the cat with me ! I was litteraly in tears and pleading with them to take her. I offered money, food, you name it. They just turned me away.

I'm not sure how old she is. She is front declawed. I don't have a pic of her, but I will take one today and post it. Right now I'm at my apt. and the cat is at my new house.

I don't have a pic of her right now. Like I said, she's at my new house and I'm at my apt now. I will post a picture of her later on. Oh I hope this lady at your job would be interested in taking her. Mention to her that my husband and I are willing to donate money for food and litter. That might help.

I wish I could- all of my 5 cats have their claws so that poor kitty cant defend herself here and sometimes my dogs get annoying and need a smack from the cats. I pray you can find a home!

I woudl call the ASPCA or the police on the people who abandoned the cat. There have to be rules against that!! It's terrible! Not that they shoudl get the cat back, but they should be fined (or if it was up to me, arrested) for doing such a thing!!

i also posted yesterday about a abandon cat he is orange and white i was wondering if anyone can help find him a home too this is a pic of him. i cant have a cat because i live in a apartment otherwise i would take both of them. the one by me and the one you are talking about. Image Attachment(s):

I know. The story is a bit long and complicated. To make it simple those people do not have hearts and my husband and I do and that's why we are in this situation.

Awww, I know there are so many cats and dogs that need homes. It just makes me so sad
