Anyone have Extreme Pubic Bone Pain or Been Diagnosed with Pubic Symphysis Dysfunction?

I'm in so much pain 100% of the time. It just can't be normal. I'm wondering if anyone else out there struggles to complete their simple daily tasks because of pubic bone pain. If so, what have you found helpful? I'm 35 weeks, still working full time and will continue to until 38 weeks. TIA.

Yes, actually I was on Wednesday. I can't sit longer than 30 minutes in one position or when I do stand, I am in excruciating pain.
I can't roll over in bed. Even though the baby hasn't dropped, I feel like it is falling out.

Does this explain the feeling?

I developed this while delivering DD#1, the pain was worse then labor. I couldn't really walk for 2wks (just shuffled around) and finally started to feel normal again after about a month. So far this pregnancy I have been getting a lot of aches and pains in the pelvic area but nothing like I had before so far <knock on wood>. Have you spoken to your OB about this? There is physical therapy or you can see if a chiropractor can help you like I did but to be honest there is nothing that's going to give you any instant relief. Not sure if it will take you longer to heal because you still have the weight of a baby on your pelvis Chat Icon Chat Icon

YES....I had this with #2 the last few weeks before I delivered. It was horrible. I actually cried one day. To be honest nothing helped. I even slept with an ice pack inbetween my legs one night Chat Icon Even sitting down and going to the bathroom hurt. It was horrible.

I will tell you as soon as I delivered, by the next day the pain was gone Chat Icon Chat Icon

Hang in there...a few more weeks Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

I think this is what i have. I am 25 weeks and for the last 2-3 weeks i have been in a lot of pain. The pain is in my upper inner thigh right by my pubic area. I can't walk, sit or lay down without being in pain. I am going to call my doctor tomorrow and see what he says. I hope he doesn't blow it off as nothing. It's hard to function when i'm always in pain. I'm waddeling already because i can't walk due to the pain Chat Icon

I forgot to mention the the DR said for me to use heating pads on my lower back, thighs, and behind my knees because. All of these joints have loosened. She said I quakify for disability at this point because I fell three times this week alone.

After my son, it took about 2-3 weeks to feel any relief.

Re: Anyone have Extreme Pubic Bone Pain or Been Diagnosed with Pubic Symphysis Dysfunction?

at 12 weeks, I was dying in pain.. finally found a physical therapist specializing in Pubic Symphysis Dysfucntion. My OBs didn't believe that at 12 weeks it was a big deal. but I seriously couldn't walk, sit or lay down, without cringing in pain.

She re-aligned me and showed me some exercises. It was a godsend and I have nothing major to complain about now at 20 weeks.

I stopped seeing her because its really manageable on my own now. But I do think, as I get bigger I might need to see her again.

My physical therapist:
renew physical therapy

Hope you find some relief Chat Icon

eta: she advised to use heating pads on my inner thighs where my muscles where knotted due to all the work I was trying to do walking without my bones in place. Helps tons!
