17 weeks and feeling some new "pressure" right above pubic bone, is this normal?
Starting tonight, I started feeling some pressure (not pain) above my pubic bone area in the uterus area.
I don't know if this is normal or if something is wrong (I have fibroids). Does anyone else remember feeling what they would describe as pressure around this time, 17 weeks?

Yep- normal. BTW- you WILL feel more pressure than normal, as well as BH contractions more than others because of the added space taken up by the fibroids. If they EVER hurt though- CALL your OB.
Sorry to hijack..... I have a NEW lump on the opposite side of where my "big ones" are. I THOUGHT it was the baby- but it hasn't moved. Looks like mine are growing again.

I have a heavy feeling, similar to pressure...I think it's the streching and expanding.

ya - i would feel a lot of pressure one day and then fine the next day during my second tri. I guess it depends on how the baby is laying

You guys are the best, thanks.
It concerned me b/c when I first got the BFP, I felt that. Then around 12 weeks, it went away and I was told it was b/c the uterus moved up and out of the pelvic cavity.
So I got worried when it came back, wondering if that meant the uterus dropped again or if my fibroids were causing the pressure.
Thanks alot! I still will ask my dr, but I feel much better now hearing from all of you!

That's normal to have contractions so early??? 
It does not hurt at all. Just pressure, heaviness that feels like if I urinate, the pressure would be relieved but it doesn't get relieved. (It's def not a bladder infection though, I am sure of that).

What you're feeling now aren't Braxton Hicks. But when you DO feel them later(you'll know- you're belly will get REALLY hard) you'll likely feel them more often because you have more "stuff" in there beside a baby and fluid.

I'm 16 weeks and have the same pressure and crampy feeling. I was told by my doctor that it's round ligament pain.....totally normal for this time of pregnancy...still a bit worrisome......
