anyone change their mind about finding out the sex, AFTER their Level II?
If so, what made you change your mind?
Were you happy you decided to find out?
How did you go about finding out-- did you just call, did you create a "moment" for you and DH?
Just curious.

at my level II I had the dr write down the sex and seal it in an envelope. DH and I still haven' t looked at it yet
but if we change our minds we know we can make it our moment

dh had our moment in the sono office.
 had his legs spread open and dh asked- is there something between its legs and the tech said, there is always something between the legs, do you want to know which something it is? and we said yes. SO that was our moment, finding out we are going to have a son. i cried the rest of the sono!

I know this doesn't totally comply with your question, since we found out at our Level II, but, I didn't pull the trigger so to speak until we were literally in the waiting room and it happened to be right before we were called. I was not going to find out and then something just hit me sitting there and I needed to know. I don't know how I would have felt not knowing since I now do, but I can say that I'm happy that I changed my mind. It's been a bit of an.....adjustment....getting used to the fact that I'm having a boy. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy, we're both happy....but I think deep down inside we both kinda wanted a girl and I won't lie when I tell you that when she said, "it's a boy" I was a little.....stunned. And instead of being all joyful and excited i was just....quiet. It was like.....I had to absorb, and I still am.
Anyway, long story short is that I'm glad I'm able to come to terms with those emotions now, rather than having a few more months of the wanting a girl feeling growing only to give birth to a boy and have to deal with those emotions then.

My Level II is next week and this is probably what we are going to do also.

My Level II is next week and this is probably what we are going to do also.

My practice won't write down the sex if you didn't want to know. I guess to avoid accidental slip-ups.
If you are truly on the fence, have the sono tech write it down and put it in an envelope and have them keep it in your file- JUST in case you decide later you want to know.....
